We all think that we have the qualities of a great leader, but most of us are not. The bitter truth is that we live in a world teeming with individuals aspiring to occupy leadership positions. As much as some people hate to admit the truth, no one can be a leader. An unbridled desire to lead does not mean that a person possesses the strength of character skills and courage that qualifies him to be a leader. We often wonder about the steps necessary to reach the top in our professional life as we assume that there is a magic formula that we apply to make us achieve our goal. While the roads to driving are numerous, not all are equal in degree of ease or difficulty.
Perhaps it is worth noting here that many who want to make tangible progress in their career are not interested in helping others achieve the same thing, and I have always been surprised by the large number of people who occupy leadership positions without being worthy of them, but I stopped that as soon as I knew that those responsible for developing leadership skills in the first place, cannot determine what are the main ingredients that makes a person a leader. I hope the following list helps you understand the reasons behind a person’s inability to become a leader.
You are not suitable for a leadership position if you are:
